Our Story

 Life is a gift! An amazing privilege we should cherish. As long as there is life, there are no limits to what you can become. Most of the time, we're concerned about the challenges that stare us in the face and the setbacks we have experienced. I bring you good news! You can overcome your challenges. Your current circumstances, do not define who you are. I say this confidently, because this is my story.

I raised my daughter as a single father for years. In early days, other than love, I had little or nothing to offer her. I took jobs that provided some income, but we went through hardship. We slept in cars and were hungry many days. 

I got into some trouble that landed me in jail. My experience behind bars taught me the importance of freedom. Moving forward, I learned how to make the right decisions. My only hope and desire, was to be free again. One day I cried to God for help. I prayed to be released from prison. I decided to make better choices and live purposefully. Yes, my answer came; freedom at last!  

 After years of learning and making the right decisions, I became inspired to help others. I landed various jobs. Later, I started building a business. Looking back, I'm grateful to God for how far he has brought me! My life has turned around for the better. Yours can be transformed, too! This is the passion behind Dave’s Choice Community CDC. A team devised to spread love and help others. 

We help children and families. Our joy is acquired through helping others live their best lives.
